A young child has died in a drowning incident in Melbourne’s south-east.
Emergency services rushed to Lagoon Row in Officer, a suburb in Melbourne’s south-east, about 5pm on Sunday.
The child was pulled from the water unresponsive and died at the scene.
The child has yet to be formally identified.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
