Tornadoes Cause Damage in Mississippi

At least two people were injured in Mississippi on March 22, as several tornadoes hit parts of the south.

Local resident Shannan Toombs captured this footage of the storm damage.

Toombs said the video was filmed in Holmes County, one of 12 Mississippi counties impacted by severe weather.

The National Weather Service in Jackson confirmed five tornadoes, with some EF-1 damage found in Holmes County.

Despite the damage, the Clarion-Ledger said the state was mostly spared the worst of the weather seen regionally. Credit: Shannan Toombs via Storyful
