Toddlers pulled from swimming pool
Two toddlers have been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a near drowning incident.
Queensland Ambulance Service were called to a home in Woree, Cairns following reports two boys were pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool.
A QAS spokeswoman said paramedics arrived about 3.50pm to treat the two toddlers.
She confirmed CPR hadn’t been carried out on the two children until paramedics arrived.
They were then taken to Cairns Hospital, each in a serious condition.
It comes one day after a four-year-old child died in a suspected drowning in a backyard pool in Adelaide.
Paramedics worked tirelessly at the home to revive the girl beforeshe was taken to hospital, where it is understood she later died.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
