Update on toddler pulled from hotel pool
A toddler has been discharged from hospital after they were pulled unresponsive from a hotel pool on the Gold Coast.
The child had been underwater for some time before being pulled from the water at a hotel on Brisbane Rd in Biggera Waters about 3.30pm on Monday.
The child has since been discharged from Gold Coast University Hospital.
It is understood the child was underwater for about seven minutes, 7 News reports.
Paramedics transported the toddler in a serious condition to hospital, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
