TikTok user reveals Woolworths trolley trick for self-serve checkouts
A TikTok user has revealed a little-known trolley hack that will make your next trip to supermarket a breeze.
A user named @ebonyhit recently uploaded a video of herself using the self-serve checkouts at an unknown Woolworths store in Australia.
In the footage, she can be seen effortlessly sliding the small grocery chain’s shopping trolley next to the kiosk where customers would usually place a basket.
“I just learnt the small trolley fits at Woolies self serve!” an excited Ebony captioned the video.
The video has attracted more than 17,000 likes on the social media platform, as well as around 400 comments from stunned viewers.
“You’re smarter than me, I’m 43 and just found this out,” one person wrote.
“This has spun me out, my whole world has changed,” another commented.

A few Woolworths employees said even they were unaware of the trolley trick.
“I work at Woolies at the check outs and I didn’t know this!” a staff member wrote.
“I’ve worked there for three years and had no idea,” another said.
It’s unclear if the trick works at other supermarkets, but for now TikTok users are satisfied with the new discovery.
“Not all heroes wear capes” one viewer joked.
