Jones to kick on with Thunder

Peel veteran Brendon Jones will suit up in the WAFL in 2014 after postponing retirement plans.

Former captain and best-and-fairest winner Jones, 28, announced his retirement at the end of last season and was set to play for Halls Head in the Peel Football League.

But he changed his mind and yesterday signed a one-year deal with the Thunder, who are in the first year of their full alignment with Fremantle.

In his four years at Peel Jones has captained the club, won the 2012 best and fairest and finished runner-up three times.

Prior to joining the Thunder he played six seasons for Perth, winning their best and fairest in 2008.

Veteran Craig Wulff has also agreed to play another season with East Perth.
