Eagles release Carter, Wilson

West Coast have made the last of their list changes prior to next month's national draft, with defenders Blayne Wilson and Adam Carter released today.

Wilson was recruited by the Eagles in the 2011 pre-season draft and played nine games since his 2013 debut, while Carter was taken at selection no.59 in the 2012 draft and played seven times.

Both players played for East Perth in the 2014 WAFL grand final against Subiaco.

"Both Blayne and Adam are fine young men and have been valued members of our squad over the past few years," Eagles general manager of football Craig Vozzo said.

This announcement follows the recent delisting of Jacob Brennan and Ashley Smith, as well as the retirement of Darren Glass and Dean Cox.

Corey Adamson and Paddy Brophy have joined the rookie list, while the club also drafted Alec Waterman as a father/son selection.
