The Goldfields Eight Ball Association has seven teams at this weekend's country week titles in Perth.

Last year's series produced first and third division titles, with the association fielding teams in each of the top five divisions, as well as divisions 7 and 9.

Matches will be played tomorrow and Sunday at the Morley Recreational Centre, with Goldfields recording a victory over a Legends team last weekend.

Grand Blue have taken a stranglehold on first place in the domestic first division standings after wins over Tower and Broken Hill.

Grand Blue led the standings by three games, plus percentage, over Hannans and Tower. Tower grabbed a fifth win by upsetting Hannans on Wednesday night.

The battle for fourth remains in the balance, with Grand White and Country Club tied on three wins.

In second division action, Gala remain undefeated from Workers' Club and Criterion.

Matches continue next Thursday night, ahead of the Drage Boilermaking Goldfields Open Doubles on Saturday, June 21.
