NETBALLERS from the Collie Crane Hire South West Jets were treated to a special training session last week, when West Coast Fever assistant coach Tracey Robinson and star shooter Caitlin Bassett visted.

Coach Dale Nielsen said the training session, held at the Leschenault Leisure Centre last Thursday, was invaluable for players, which included seven of the eight players selected in the under-15's State schoolgirls squad.

"Although the skills covered in this training session were basic, all players received valuable feedback from both coaches and some very important messages relative to centre court connections," she said.

The under-18s side is now on top of the Smarter than Smoking WANL, after defeating South East Demons on Anzac Day, 50 to 41.

Although the Jets' shooting percentage was down on previous games, the team maintained full court pressure creating twenty more shots at goal than the opposition.

Kate Duncan and Cassady Anderson combined well in the second half of the game and was well supported through the mid court by wing defence, Georgia Whittaker.

The Jets have a double header this weekend at the State Netball Centre against Midwest Tigers, who are yet to win a game.
