Busselton set for Rover invasion

Rover Scouts will take over Busselton this weekend for the Sandmoot annual camp and lend a helping hand to the community.

About 70 Rover Scouts from around WA will provide service to the Busselton Community Garden, Vasse Campsite and Busselton Cub Scout Hall on Saturday.

Rover Scout crew members are men and women aged 18 to 26 years old.

The aim of “Rovering” is to continue the development of young adults who are often entering university or starting working life.

The Rovers participate in a wide range of activities from sailing, pioneering, volunteering and motorsport.
