Prawn Stars open day victors
Punters turned out in droves to the Port Hedland Golf Club opening day recently, with a mixed crowd of regulars and a few new faces thrown into the mix.
The Prawn Stars team won the competition, taking away a Margaret River getaway as first prize, with a score of 54.125.
They came in just ahead of The Russian Spies, who finished on 55.125 and Nat's Team, who placed third with 57.625.
The club would like to thank Wightman Building Company and Quality Inn Margaret River for providing the prizes.
There are regular events on at the 18-hole, par-72 course and all players are invited to get involved.
