North West motorcycle riders on track for 2014

The 2014 North West Motorcycle Association Championship Series is gearing up with riders from all over the region hitting the track.

The North West Motorcycle Association has launched the 2014 Championship Series, with round one held in Paraburdoo.

The field included more than 100 riders, from as far away as Carnarvon and Derby, with age groups spanning four to 50.

Some standout riders for the weekend were Haiden Hills, Jake Watling, Shaun Barry, Indy Radcliffe, Mitchell Outram, Darren Hansen, Brodie Dewacht, Hannah Lovett, Anne Marie Scheepers, Mark Woodall, Jye Tomerini, Nathan Hammond, Jackson Smith, and Mitchell Polson.

Another rider who performed well was Jason Meagher from Tom Price, who stepped up from the junior ranks showing some great speed.

The riders had a great weekend without any major incidents, and all involved left with a smile on their faces, ready for round two in Karratha on April 26 and 27. The NWMA would like to thank Pilbara Motor Group for their continued patronage as the primary sponsor for the 2014 season.

The NW series is open to all members of affiliated Pilbara clubs.
