Kalgoorlie police have warned drivers of an increase in random breath tests for the festive season.

The Goldfields-Esperance Traffic Unit had a region wide operation on the weekend and tested 900 drivers.

Four were charged with drink driving.

Kalgoorlie Police officer in charge Danny Vincent said they would be supporting future operations for breath tests.
