Dinosaurs prove a popular lure

Prehistoric animal magnetism has helped the WA Museum scale record heights with the biggest exhibition in its history.

About 50,000 people have paid to see the multimillion-dollar show Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous in its first three weeks. With 13 weeks to run, the creature feature is set to shatter the 113,000 attendances for A Day in Pompeii in 2010.

Dinosaur Discovery has more than 20 life-size moving, roaring re-creations of the big reptiles. It runs until August 3, with tickets from $12.50 to $20.
