Rolling Stones arrive in Adelaide

Seven months after postponing their Australian tour, the Rolling Stones are back with at least three band members touching down in Adelaide.

The group, including frontman Mick Jagger, was shown a side door at Adelaide Airport when they arrived last night before being whisked away to the Intercontinental Hotel.

Guitarist Ronnie Wood made a brief appearance as he left the hotel this afternoon.

Mick Jagger and drummer Charlie Watts have kept low profiles since arriving on the Emirates flight from Dubai last night.

The band postponed its Australian tour in March after Jagger’s girlfriend died, but they promised to return.

With their show still 10 days away, there is speculation they have arrived early to rehearse for their national tour.
