Jackson slams anchor for blooper

Samuel L. Jackson has slammed a news anchor for confusing him with Laurence Fishburne live on air.

The actor appeared on a Los Angeles TV station on Monday to promote his new movie RoboCop.

But Jackson, right, was stunned when entertainment reporter Sam Rubin asked him about his commercial for the Super Bowl, appearing to mistake him for Fishburne.

"What Super Bowl commercial?" the actor asked.

Jackson then laments about the anchor's confusion for a full two minutes, insisting the reporter is as bad as others who jump to conclusions.

"We don't all look alike!" the actor vented, trying his best to crack a smile. "See, you're as crazy as the people on Twitter," he said. "I'm not Laurence Fishburne!"

Rubin tried to turn the conversation back to the movie but Jackson wasn't having it.

"Oh, hell no! Really?" he responded.

"I'm the 'What's in your wallet' black guy. He's the car black guy. Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy."

Rubin has since issued an apology to the actor. He insists the exchange was simply a mix-up.
