Rickenbacker stolen from music store

A Rickenbacker guitar was stolen from a Mt Lawley guitar shop on Thursday.

Bayswater Police are seeking information to track down the 12-string secondhand guitar stolen from The Rock Inn.

The 2005-model 360/12 electric guitar bears the distinctive R tailpiece of Rickenbacker instruments.

The Rock Inn posted an appeal on its Facebook page: "If you see it for sale or trade around the place please let us know, any info leading to it's return will be greatly appreciated and rewarded."

The guitar will be missing its hard case, the store said.
