Police arrest alleged pursuit driver

A driver who allegedly led police on a pursuit will appear in court today after he was arrested in his Atwell home.

The 26-year-old man will appear in Fremantle Magistrate’s Court after allegedly evading police yesterday.

Police, who aborted the pursuit, arrested him at his home yesterday afternoon.

He has been charged with reckless driving, failing to stop when called upon, having no authority to drive, driving an unlicensed vehicle and possessing drug paraphernalia

Passenger Bus Crashes Into Saint Petersburg River
A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
