A hoon driver has come unstuck in a park in Carlisle, flipping the vehicle after doing doughnuts on the oval.

The four-wheel drive ended on its roof, doors open and contents strewn nearby.

Police are investigating if the vehicle was stolen.

There were deep gouges on the oval at Parnham Reserve left by the driver doing burnouts before losing control and rolling the vehicle.
