More bikies charged with extortion

Gang associates face extortion charges

Two more bikie gang associates have been charged over the alleged extortion and firebombing of a Northbridge business.

Police yesterday arrested a 35-year-old Carine man and a 24-year-old Ashfield man, who are associates of the Comanchero bikie gang, as part of an investigation into the alleged May incident.

The men were charged with demanding property by oral threats and carrying out an unlawful act with intent to harm.

They were refused bail last night and were due to appear in court today.

Police have previously charged eight people in relation to the alleged incident, including the Comanchero’s state commander and other gang members.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
