From PLC to TV gold

P *resbyterian Ladies' College student Olivia DeJonge has landed her first major Australian TV role.

DeJonge has been handed a part in new ABC drama Hiding, which starts filming this week and follows a Gold Coast family in witness protection who must build a new life in a strange city.

She will star alongside fellow Perth actress Kate Jenkinson, former Home and Away star Lincoln Younes and James Stewart, who is engaged to Jessica Marais.

Also appearing are Stephen Curry, Nathan Page, Jodi Gordon, Kim Gyngell and Jacqueline McKenzie.

It is gearing up to be a big year for DeJonge, who landed a role in The Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan's latest movie Sundowning in January.
