New team strip has the Spirit
New team strip has the Spirit

Perth Spirit have unveiled their 2014 playing strip for the inaugural National Rugby Championship that kicks off later this month.

The jumper design incorporates the strong support expressed to keep the traditional RugbyWA gold and black colours.

The splash of blue under the collar symbolises the pathway the competition provides to the Western Force.

RugbyWA chief executive Mark Sinderberry said the NRC provided an opportunity to continue developing Western Force and local players in a high level competition.

“This will essentially broaden our base of players that are available to the Western Force and continue our focus on building our local player pool in WA," Sinderberry said.
