Delays mar morning train commute
Delays mar morning train commute

Train services on the Armadale, Thornlie, Fremantle and Midland lines were delayed this morning because of a technical problem at Claisebrook train station.

Transperth announced the delays at 5.30am.

Public Transport Authority spokesman David Hynes said an issue with points had stopped the trains leaving Claisebrook.

The points had to be cranked manually.

He said services were not quite running to the regular schedule but delays were minor.

The Joondalup and Mandurah lines were not affected.
