Cyclist 'had drugs, knife'

A cyclist has been charged after police allegedly found drugs and a knife in his backpack while he rode his bicycle in Mandurah last night.

The 23-year-old Halls Head man was stopped by police on patrol as he road along Pinjarra Road on a mountain bike.

Police allegedly found methylamphetamines and a knife in the man's backpack.

He has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug with the intent to sell or supple, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing an article with intent to cause fear and is due to appear in court on July 25.
