Tyre iron used in robbery

Police are looking to identify a man who used a tyre iron to rob a Mount Lawley bottle shop yesterday afternoon.

The man entered the Beaufort Street store around 3.50pm and approached the counter, holding the tyre iron above his head.

He demanded cash from the staff, who handed it over before the man left the store.

Police described the man as aged in his 30’s, with fair skin and of medium height and build.

He has a thick, dark beard and was wearing a black hooded jumper pulled over his head.
