Bunbury is mopping up after being drenched in a 84mm deluge delivered by a cold front which swept through the South West today.
The heaviest falls were in Bunbury where 84.8mm was recorded in the 12 hours to 2.30pm.
During the same period, Donnybrook recoded 51.4mm, Pinjarra South 38.6mm and there was an unofficial reading of 80mm at Quaelup.
A severe weather warning for the South West, south coastal communities and Great Southern has been cancelled but emergency services have advised residents to check homes for damage and keep away from flooded areas.
Weather bureau duty forecaster Edward Boyles said rain was expected to ease during the next few hours as the disturbance and cold front moved east.
A DFES spokesman said the SES had received six calls this morning, but there had been no major damage reported.
