Seige ends with arrest
Police swooped on a house in Mandurah last night after a man threatened to harm himself by dousing himself and the property in petrol.
The police Tactical Response Group was called to the Service Street home at about 7.45pm after reports the 48-year-old was threatening self harm.
The man is failed to comply with officers and threatened police while armed with a baseball bat and a hatchet.
He was apprehended by police and taken to Peel Health Campus for a health assessment.
