Urgent search for man, child

Police are appealing for help to find a man who was last seen driving in Middle Swan earlier today.

The man may have a child with him and is believed to be driving a white Ford Falcon sedan, registration KO8536.

He was last seen driving along Toodyay Road.

A police spokesman said officers held "serious concerns" for the welfare of the man and the child.

He is described as aged about 40 with dark hair and tattoos down his arms.

Members of the public are advised not to approach the man.

Anyone who spots him or the car should call police on 131 444.
