Man stabbed to death
A 20-year-old man has been stabbed to death in a remote indigenous community north of Broome.
Police were called to One Arm Point about 3.40pm yesterday after reports a man had sustained a stab wound and was unconscious.
Medical staff performed CPR on the injured man, but he died yesterday afternoon.
Broome detectives attended the community, situated on the Dampier Peninsula about 200km north of Broome, to investigate.
A 44-year-old woman from the same community, who is known to the victim, has been taken into custody and is currently assisting with the investigation.
Major Crime Squad detectives and forensic officers from Perth are travelling to the community today.
