Charges over car theft, robbery
A 28-year-old man has been charged after car was stolen from Victoria Park last week with an eight-year-old girl in the back.
The girl was released a short distance away but the hunt for the vehicle continued for most of the night.
Police allege the Toyota Camry was then used during a robbery at an Innaloo jewellery store.
Detectives from the Regional Investigations Unit have charged the man with stealing a motor vehicle and armed robbery.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
