Child sex charge for lifesaver
A surf lifesaving instructor has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Sex Assault Squad officers today charged a 25-year-old man with historic sexual assault offences.
It is alleged over a period of several months in 2010, the man sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl.
The man was an instructor with a Surf Life Saving Club at the time of the incidents.
He has been charged with four counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent and one count of indecently dealing with a child over 13 and under 16 years.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
