Two dead in van-truck crash

Boddington police are appealing for witnesses to a crash overnight, which left two men dead.

At approximately 6.15pm a Toyota Hiace was travelling east along the Pinjarra-Williams road when it collided with a Mitsubishi truck travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Toyota van, a 47-year-old Nambeelup man, died at the scene.

A 49-year-old Dwellingup man driving the truck was freed from his vehicle by emergency services but could not be revived.

Anyone with information about the crash or who saw either vehicle involved is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
