This luxe New Zealand hotel has the most epic views of Queenstown
It’s no secret the must-visit resort town of Queenstown is known for attracting thrill-seekers looking for an adrenalin rush or those after an easy break away, and we’ve found the perfect place to do it in style.
The Spire Hotel offers luxury boutique accommodation for guests to enjoy some southern NZ hospitality and has some of the best views of the beautiful and rugged landscapes that make the region famous.
Located in the centre of Queenstown and 8.4km from Queenstown airport, the Spire is considered to be ‘small but perfectly formed’, with just 10 sought-after suites.
The modern interior of the rooms is perfectly offset by the spectacular views of surrounding scenery. You’ll definitely want to spend as much time on the outdoor terrace as possible. And make sure to catch at least one sunset or sunrise while there as well.
Each 60sqm suite features a super king bed, a spacious ensuite with separate shower and an irresistible deep bath.
The stone clad fire place is also a standout in each room.
You’ll also be treated to complimentary handmade chocolates at each turndown service and definitely make sure to enjoy the complimentary a la carte breakfast each morning as well.
Once you’ve settle into your stylish new digs, here are a few other places to visit for food and thrills while in Queenstown.

“Manuka trees grow on the lower hillsides – we use the wood for smoking our duck and the ash for curing our salmon. On my commute to work along a lakeside path I collect wild marjoram to season our Parmesan Churros,” Will explains.
