A group of teenagers have been arrested after it’s alleged they stole a car and killed a six-year-old boy in the US.
CNN reports three Mississippi teens were arrested after it’s alleged they stole a Toyota Camry from a Kroger parking lot on Thursday.
It’s further alleged a child, Kingston Frazier, was alone in the car they stole but it’s not clear if the driver knew the boy was in the vehicle.
Kingston’s mother was reportedly in a store at2 the time and alerted police her vehicle was missing.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert with the belief Kingston was still in the stolen car.
It’s alleged the car was found abandoned in rural Madison County later on Thursday.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Heath Hall said Kingston was found dead shot in the back of the head.
The sheriff’s office said Dwan Wakefield, D’Allen Washington and Byron McBride had all been charged as adults with capital murder for the murder of a child during a kidnapping and are also facing auto theft charges.
