Target recalls baby onesie over choking fears

Target has been forced to recall baby clothes over choking fears.

The store issued a recall of its $10 two-way zip baby coveralls on Tuesday amid fears the zipper might detach.

The recall is for all sizes, ranging from new baby to 12-18 months, with the coveralls sold at Target Australia and Target Country stores. It was also available online.

The clothes were sold between February and June this year, but any coveralls sold after 13 June aren’t affected by the recall, Target said.

Anyone who purchased the product is encouraged to return it as soon as possible for a refund.

It follows a recall of a breast pump on Monday, amid fears it could cause users an electric shock.

Medela has reissued its 2016 recall of the detachable plugs sold with its Medela Swing, Medela Swing Maxi and Medela Freestyle breast pumps.

The popular baby company advised parents who have bought breast pumps before October 2016, and have since put them in storage, to check the power adaptor.
