Sydney siege survivor's guilty plea
One of the youngest Sydney siege survivors who was praised for his bravery and maturity during the ordeal has faced court.
Jarrod Morton-Hoffman, 19, fronted Downing Centre Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty to aggravated break and enter.
It's understood the incident took place at a clothing store in the CBD and involved two of Morton-Hoffman's friends - Luc Baumgartner and Berk Atakan - all of whom do not have criminal records.
It's believed the young men stole around $1000 worth of clothing from an American Apparel store before they were detained.
Due to a busy court list the trio's matter was not heard on Friday.
Lindt Cafe worker Morton-Hoffman told Nine's 60 Minutes he felt he had “aged quite a bit” after the siege.
“I guess what I’d say I learnt from myself is I feel like I learnt to trust people. I put my faith into a lot of people and they did well.
“I learnt I can cope under pressure which is a nice thing,” Morton-Hoffman said.
