Sydney man accused of filming up dresses of strangers


A young man has been accused of filming up the dress of a woman in Sydney with police alleging he has other unknown victims.

Police say a 58-year-old woman was working at a Bondi premises in early March when the man approached her from behind and used a mobile phone to film up her dress.

When officers on Friday arrested the 18-year-old at a home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, they seized a phone allegedly containing videos of eight unknown victims.

He has been charged with five counts of filming a person’s private parts without consent, nine counts of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent and one count of possessing a prohibited drug.

The man has been granted conditional police bail to face Waverley Local Court on Tuesday, April 23.
