Soldier's embarrassing slip up during Changing of the Guard

Video of a Queen's Guard soldier falling over during the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony has gone viral online.

Footage uploaded to YouTube overnight shows seven members of the Queen’s Guard marching through a courtyard at Buckingham Palace in full uniform.

The lead guard can be heard shouting commands as the unit parades past watching tourists.

After they pass through the palace gates, the soldiers stop briefly, which is when a guard at the back loses his footing and falls on his backside.

Onlookers can be heard gasping in the background, with one woman even joking "he'll be getting fired".

Ever the professional though, the guard quickly stands back up on his feet and resumes his duties.
