Entertainment stars and sporting icons face off once again for Soccer Aid 2024, helping to raise money for a worthy cause.

Founded by singer Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid gathers a host of entertainment and sporting professionals together to help raise money for UNICEF. Each year, the Soccer Aid England squad faces off against ​​Soccer Aid World XI FC, with previous team line-ups boasting names like Tom Hiddleston and former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson.

With Soccer Aid 2024 fast approaching, here’s everything you need to know about the big match before it happens.

Soccer Aid 2024 will take place on Sunday, 9 June. It will be broadcast live from Stamford Bridge on ITV1, with coverage starting at 6pm and the game kicking off at 7:30pm.

The match will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary and BBC Sport presenter Alex Scott. Tickets for Soccer Aid 2024 have sold out.

Lacing up their boots for the England squad is a line-up of all-stars including runner Sir Mo Farah, Dragons’ Den investor Steven Bartlett, Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, Strictly star Bobby Brazier and former cricketer Stuart Broad.

Also part of the squad are Top Gear’s Paddy McGuinness, actor Danny Dyer, internet star Miniminter, The Crown’s Erin Doherty, The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker, singer Tom Grennan and TV personality and former field hockey star Sam Quek.

They’ll join a roster of professional footballers including captain Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe, Gary Cahill, David James, Karen Carney, Joe Cole, Ellen White, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard will join Harry Redknapp, David Seaman and Robbie as management and coaches, with Billy Wingrove as soccer and skills coach.

The Soccer Aid World XI FC team will be hoping to give England a run for their money.

Their team consists of captain Usain Bolt, fighter Tommy Fury, comedian Maisie Adam, Gladiator Diamond AKA Livi Sheldon, Line of Duty star Martin Compston, radio host Roman Kemp, comics Lee Mack and Jason Manford, Youtuber Theo Baker and former boxer Tony Bellew.

On the professional side, they’ll be joined on the pitch by Kaylyn Kyle, Mikel John Obi, Patrice Evra, Roberto Carlos, Petr Čech and Michael Essien and Eden Hazard.

Mauricio Pochettino and Spain Jesús Pérez will act as management and coaches with Billy Wingrove serving as soccer and skills coach.
