Man records apology message after racist tirade in Centrelink
A man caught on camera unleashing a racist tirade inside an Adelaide Centrelink office has apologised, insisting he didn’t mean to offend anyone.
Troy Scott, 47, was filmed yelling racist remarks at a Centrelink office in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Monday.
Mr Scott said he’s only just seen the footage, which has been viewed - and condemned - by millions.
“I have bipolar, anxiety with depression,” he said.
“I didn't have my medication and that's why I went to Centrelink to try and sort it out.
“If I offended anyone or upset anyone I am truly sorry.”

South Australia Police have spoken with Mr Scott and released him.
They are still considering laying charges but are yet to find him again since the tirade.
Mr Scott’s ex-girlfriend, Chantelle Berlemon, has urged the 47-year-old to go back to the police.
She said the sooner he deals with the consequences, the sooner he can get proper help.
“He is genuinely a nice bloke. It's just when he's not taking his medication he can get really angry,” she said.
