Boys 7, 10, and 11 leave path of destruction in alleged school vandalism spree

Three boys aged seven, 10 and 11 are accused of vandalising an Adelaide school after significant damage was caused to classrooms during the school holidays.

Police say the trio broke into the Forbes Primary School just before 6pm on Monday and trashed four classrooms.

Carpets were ripped up and paint was splashed over walls, computers, keyboards, screens and other electronic equipment, destroying them.

The group set off an alarm, and when police arrived tried to flee but were quickly detained.

The 10 and 11-year-old boys, both from Ascot Park, were arrested and charged with trespass and property damage. The seven-year-old was cautioned and taken home.

The two older boys will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
