Man charged over dad’s death
A 20-year-old Adelaide Hills man has faced court over the alleged shooting death of his father more than two and a half months ago.
Christopher Mieglich, of Lenswood, fronted the Adelaide Magistrate’s Court this afternoon charged with the shooting death of his father, 57-year-old Graham Mieglich.
He made no application for bail and has been remanded in custody until November.
The victim was found dead in the bedroom of his Charleston home on June 6.
They have praised the public for their support during the two and a half month investigation.
“What I’d like to do is thank the people, the members of the public, that came forward and assisted detectives,” Det. Insp. Mark Trenwith said.
“It provided a lot of information for us and helped us get the investigation to this stage.”
