'Absolute disgrace': Roxy Jacenko hits out at female poo jogger near her office

Police are investigating after Sydney socialite and publicist Roxy Jacenko posted security footage on social media which showed a female jogger defecating in the street outside her PR business.

Jacenko initially called on her 250,000 Instagram followers to help identify the culprit who could be seen on the CCTV footage defecating in Watson Street in Paddington just after 6am on Monday and also after 6.30am on Thursday.

AAP spoke to a neighbouring resident who said there'd been four or five human stools deposited in the same spot over the past three weeks.

"One is fair enough if you're caught short - but four or five I think is too much," the resident, who asked not to be named, said.

"The poos have come more consistently recently. But I hope the woman isn't shamed as she could possibly have a medical condition."

Jacenko wasn't cutting the jogger any slack, however.

"What an absolute disgrace you are, doing this in our residential street where we have a primary school and multiple residences," she wrote on Instagram on Monday night.

"What has the world come to."

A NSW Police spokeswoman on Monday night said after becoming aware of a potential criminal offence "an investigation has commenced".

Officers had to attend Jacenko's Paddington business, Sweaty Betty, in mid-2017 following reports of malicious damage. Red and blue paint along with eggs had been thrown at the building.

That attack came a few weeks after Jacenko's husband, convicted insider trader Oliver Curtis, was released from Cooma prison.

Sweaty Betty's offices were also attacked in April 2017 when an unknown assailant poured foul-smelling brown sludge, believed to be faeces, in the mailbox.

In June 2019, Brisbane executive Andrew Douglas Macintosh was fined and resigned after he was photographed defecating outside a Greenslopes apartment complex during an early morning jog.

Macintosh was initially charged with public nuisance after being caught in the act by a resident who'd waited to catch the alleged serial "pooper".
