Road closed as busy restaurant evacuated after fire

A road has been closed and a restaurant evacuated following a fire.

Fire crews and ambulances attended Lona Grill House and Juice Bar on Gloucester Road in Bristol on Sunday night and customers were asked to leave.

Avon and Somerset Police have closed Gloucester Road and a spokesperson confirmed other emergency services were dealing with the fire.

Gloucester Road remains closed and it is not yet known whether anyone was injured.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
