'Immediately cease using': Product recall issued for problematic massage wrap

Consumers who purchased a shawl-like heat and massage wrap are being urged to return it over fears it could blow a house fuse even when turned off.

The RELFA Relaxation Wrap was sold by Innovations Pty Ltd between March 13 and April 26 with the aim of massaging and providing relief to muscular aches around the neck, shoulders and and back area.

The product is sold as a “two in one” relaxation wrap and retails at $49.

According to Product Safety Australia who issued the recall for the wrap, the item “may blow a house fuse when plugged in or turned off”.

Customers who has purchased the heat and massager were urged to “immediately cease using the product and unplug it from the wall socket and return to Innovations Pty Ltd for a full refund”.

Innovations Pty Ltd are reportedly contacting affected consumers by letter or email to organise a full refund.
