Rare intact Russian drone ‘found in woodland by Ukrainian soldier’
An intact Russian drone has reportedly been discovered in woodland by a Ukrainian soldier.
A video shared online appeared to show the “relatively unscathed” object being found on a forest floor in countryside near Luhansk, in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.
“I was able to capture this new Russian drone relatively unscathed,” said the guardsman of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, in a post on social media app Telegram by Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Therefore, I consider the hunt to be successful, and interesting data from this drone was transferred to the relevant authorities of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.”
