Queensland Police hunting killer after teenage girl’s body found in barrel
Police have spent the night searching for a killer on the run after a body was found dumped in a barrel on the back of a ute.
Detective Superintendent Region Crime Coordinator for the South Eastern Region Mark White last night said police responded to a report of a missing person in Buccan, Logan.
A man was seen fleeing a property they were investigating in a black ute.
Later Police discovered the body of a teenager girl in a barrel on the back of that ute at Stapylton around 1.30pm.
“We don’t know the identify of this person and we may not know that until tomorrow or possibly the next day,” he said.
The suspected killer remains on the run and Police have launched a large scale search.
