‘Like chilli juice on your skin’: Man caught taking shower in drive-thru car wash

This is the bizarre moment a naked Australian man was caught taking a shower in a drive-thru car wash.

The shop's security cameras captured the unknown long-haired man in the self-service bay in the town of Parklands, north of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, on August 16.

An employee of the car wash centre, Geoff Bowen, said he arrived at work and found the water gun left on the floor so he checked the security cameras

“I just quickly looked at it to see if anything needed attention then I saw the naked dude. I couldn't believe it and I watched back through the footage from there,” he said.

In the video, the pale man is seen jumping around to evade the cleaning chemicals being spewed by the hose.

Staff said the solution would have burned, so he seemed to enjoy the cool water splashing on his skin when he reached the rinse-off area.

The man covered his crotch with his hands while he danced and jumped for while being splashed by the water and foam

Geoff added that the man might have been shocked by the strong chemicals that are meant to remove grime and bird droppings from cars.

“To do that you have to be young and have young skin. He would have been on fire. It would be like chilli juice on your ski,” he said.

The car wash owner said he was happy the video was popular as it had gained them new customers who were amused about the incident.

The shop said they would not press charges against the man and offered him a free car wash - this time in his vehicle - if he ever showed up at the business.
