Zookeeper bitten by snake at Australia Zoo
A female zookeeper has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a snake at Australia Zoo.
The 28-year-old was working in a back paddock when she was attacked around 11am (AEST) on Wednesday.
The snake, which is not believed to be venomous, disappeared into nearby bushland.
The snake is not believed to be venomous, but all standard procedures are being followed as we would encourage anybody to do when bitten.

Emergency crews were called to the scene and the woman was treated by paramedics.
She was taken to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition.
The breed of the snake has not been identified.
