Case against accused teacher back in court

Prosecutors have been given two weeks to hand defence lawyers a partial brief of evidence against a Brisbane teacher charged with child sex offences.

The 48-year-old staffer, who worked at Brisbane's private Nudgee Junior College, was charged in July with indecently dealing with four children under 16.

He faces five charges relating to alleged offences that occurred earlier this year.

He did not appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday when his case was briefly mentioned.

The court ordered the Crown provide a partial brief of evidence to the defence team by September 22.

The matter will be reviewed again on October 7.
